Training Syllabus of Sub-Inspector in CBI: - The Central Bureau of Investigation (CBI) is the dedicated Investigative Government Agency/ Organization of India that imparting a Criminal Investigation, Economic offences, and Prosecution Body.

At the end of 32 weeks (after completion of training), an investiture ceremony is conducted in the academy where Director of CBI is the chief guest. The ceremony is attended by several senior officers & officials of CBI. The cadets have sworn an oath of Industry, Integrity and Impartiality (Motto of CBI) and they are announced Sub-Inspectors and that cadet topped the Indoor & outdoor training awarded Medals. 

    After the training completed, they would get posted to the different CBI branches, where they are ready to conduct field operations and crime investigation.

    Indoor Training Syllabus of Sub-Inspector in CBI

    There are two aspects of institutional training in the CBI Academy Ghaziabad. One is Outdoor training and second is Indoor training. PT, parade, drill, sports/games & swimming etc. are the part of Outdoor Training while Study Classes are the part of Indoor training. In the Indoor training, what study materials/ Syllabus are covered for training as under: -

    All the above topics are delivered by subject wise expert. One period for lecture is 01.15 hrs. For example law topics are taught by the Sr. PP, PP & APP of CBI and also Associate Professors, Professors of the Indian Law Institute, Delhi which is one of the most prestigious law institutes of the country. 

    In addition, many topics are covered by senior police officers of CBI as well as state police officers, retired Judges, Honorable Supreme Court lawyers and retired officials of CBI or central/state government come to the CBI Academy to take lectures. Many lectures are delivered with practical demonstration like fire arms practice. Many visits are included in the training for practice training i.e. State city/rural police stations visits, CBI branches visits, CFSL visits, AIIMs visits etc.

    The cadets are posted to different branches of CBI before investiture ceremony. The cadets are posted in one of the below-mentioned branches:
